MICHAEL MASSUCCI

In 2014, Michael launched the Elite Journey series, which uses the ELITE acronym--Education, Leadership, Integrity, Team, and Excellence—to help readers be their best in any given moment. This framework is supported by his firm, AEO Leadership, which is built on the pillars of Attitude, Excellence, and Others.

Michael Massucci has dedicated over 30 years to education and athletics, serving as a teacher, coach, and President of AEO Leadership, LLC. As a servant leader and the author of the Elite Journey book series, Michael’s mission is to provide purpose and a "game plan for success" to organizations, educators, and athletes in an era of high stress and anxiety.

​Michael resides in Royal Oak, Michigan, with his wife, Karen. They have three sons, AJ, Anthony, and Jake.
The Classroom & "The Winner’s Circle"
Currently teaching American history for Bloomfield Hills Schools, Michael created a custom Mindset curriculum focused on resiliency and growth. He also hosts The Winner’s Circle, a community-broadcast speakers forum where the "best and brightest" share wisdom on life and success with students.

Athletics & Coaching Legacy
Michael enjoyed a 20-year career as a varsity basketball coach at Royal Oak Shrine High School​ and Royal Oak High Schools.
  • Records: All-time winningest boys’ basketball coach at Royal Oak Shrine High School
  • Accolades: Multiple division titles and numerous "Coach of the Year" honors
  • Advocacy: Serves on the board of the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) and is the Education/Leadership Director for Michigan Elite 25, a mentoring program for the state’s top basketball players​
